Mission
The Office of Student Activities strives to enhance the Carroll experience by providing students with social opportunities and numerous ways to get involved both on campus and in the community.  If you're looking for weekend programming, student organizations, fraternity/sorority life, Travel Series, or Orientation you've come to the right place!

Mission Statement:

Student Activities values students, first and foremost.  We strive to create experiences outside of the classroom that are engaging, impactful, and offer opportunities for students to develop a sense of belonging and connection, ultimately leading to success at Carroll University.  We do this by living our eight values on a daily basis. 

Collaboration 

Teamwork is what we do.  We strive to help the entire campus community by serving on committees, developing relationships with campus departments, sharing resources, thinking of new ideas, and modeling teamwork to students. 

Communication 

Honest, transparent, and timely communication are important to us.   

Dependability 

We value the trust we have developed with our students and colleagues and strive to be consistent with follow-through, timely communications, meeting deadlines, and supporting all areas of campus life. 

Empathy 

By connecting with others in a genuine and positive way, taking time to be present, using active listening, understanding that people are complex beings, and ultimately trying to connect with people’s underlying emotions, we seek to be empathetic in every interaction we have. 

Fun 

Student Activities brings the fun and high energy with a positive mindset, purposefully setting aside time to play and laugh, which allows students and colleagues the opportunity to enjoy their time and experiences at Carroll University.

This is the lens through which we view our work; we value a variety of voices and offer programs and activities designed to interest and educate the entire student body in an inclusive, accessible and equitable way.
