AMA strives to keep an adequate balance of fun and professional through weekly meetings and social events. Our weekly meetings consist of a rotation between guest speakers, networking events, and fun activities to avoid a repetitive meeting style while still reaching our goal. We also host monthly social activities and volunteer events with occasional collaborations with neighboring chapters or other groups on campus.

Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). At Carroll University, we focus on the friendship pillar through creating buddy matches with students from Carroll University and individuals in the community with IDD. We host two events per month and one monthly meeting for students to connect within our organization.

Best Buddies is the largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people worldwide with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower people with IDD to form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure jobs, improve communication and advocacy skills, and live independently, while also offering support for their families.

Being a part of a program that helps make a difference in not only your life but others around you. This program creates friendships that can last a lifetime!

Carroll University Big Brothers Big Sisters is a student organization on campus that is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Milwaukee. As an organization, we support and help students interested in becoming mentors for elementary-aged children. As a mentor, you will meet with a "Little" weekly at a local Waukesha Elementary school. We also welcome students who just want to support the organization as a whole without making an individual commitment. We participate in several volunteer activities and host different events throughout the year to involve both the "Bigs" and their "Littles".

The Black Student Union is a place where we can celebrate Black culture and build connections with other students who want to learn more about the Black experience. We host meetings every other week to discuss important parts of Black culture, or to just have fun and connect with others.
